Narley Community Resources Mobile apps Provider/Reader

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Narley ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Narley Community Resources (Reader) app and the Narley Provider app (together, the "Apps"). By using the Apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Who We Are

Narley is operated by Hum LLC. The Narley Apps help community members find trusted local resources — such as housing, employment, and reentry support — that are posted by vetted provider organizations.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the Apps' services:

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form and are never stored in plain text.

Location Information. With your permission, the Apps access your device's location to show community resources and alerts near you. You can allow or deny location access in your device settings at any time. If you deny location access, you can still search for resources by entering a ZIP code manually.

Saved Resources. If you save a resource within the app, we store that information so you can access it later from your account.

Resource Information (Provider App). When a provider organization posts a resource, we collect the details they enter about that resource, such as the resource name, description, address, phone number, website, and availability. This information is intended to be shared publicly with app users so they can find help.

We do not collect payment information within the Apps. Any billing for provider organizations is handled separately, outside of the Apps.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Apps:

We do not share your personal account information (such as your email) publicly.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including storing passwords in hashed form and using secure connections (HTTPS) to transmit data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

Location. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.

Account Deletion. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we remove your personal account information from our active systems, subject to any information we are required to retain by law.

Access and Correction. You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information.

Children's Privacy

The Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
